COMM 100 Lecture Notes - Lecture 3: Nonverbal Communication, French Braid
Document Summary
No coding or photoshop skills or anything that requires a computer: this must be a skill that will not get you (or me) in trouble. That means no drugs, no alcohol, no weapons: you may not demonstrate making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or making a paper airplane, simply because i"ve seen those spe eches a billion times. You must provide a step-by-step guide to performing whatever task you are teaching us, in detail. This speech does not require research or a bibliography. You will be timed, and you will lose points if your speech is shorter than 1:45 or longer than 3:15. I reserve the right to stop you if you reach four minutes. If you use an assistant, you must at least have the person chosen and informed beforehand; do not just pick someone at random from the audience. In addition to the above, you will be graded on: articulation, volume, grammar, non-verbal communication.
