Document Summary

Child development is divided into cognitive development and social development. Social development is the social development of self-concept, ego, Social concept is to predict how other people will preserve us: looking glass self is the ability to see ourselves as others see us. Family is the people we are exposed to so we try to get their attention the most, acceptance, Objective self-awareness theory: mirror points to an objective state of awareness of self. Being in a room with a mirror allows you to become more aware of yourself, objective state of awareness, we don"t like this feeling. The ideas that people have for themselves are only important when we are in a state of self-awareness. We are more motivated to be on our best behavior when we know others are watching: objective self-awareness theory allows us to live up to our beliefs.
