Prejudice: builds off of stereotypes, application of a stereotype to a certain person, belief. Discrimination: builds off of prejudice and stereotypes, acting on prejudice. Isms: systematic form of discrimination, between dominant and minority groups, reflects a conflict over who holds power in society. Black people are lazy while white people are hardworking. Black people are failures while white people are successful. Black people are poor while white people are rich.
