My name is amanda withey, and i came across your job listing while searching for opportunities to further my experience in the veterinary field. I am especially interested in the surgical technician/assistant position mentioned in the advertisement. I have a combination of four years working in the pet industry, three years as a kennel technician, and one year as a sales associate at a pet store. In the time i have spent working with animals, i"ve encountered many medical situations. These range from animals coping with common ailments, to life threatening emergencies. Having been in these situations has made it so that i am able to notice signs and symptoms of distress while there is still time for treatment. I have beenam trained and have experience giving subcutaneous injections and fluids, and currently administer medications daily at valley veterinary hospital/inn for pets. My experience in the pet care field extends beyond just the animals.
