Another Kirchhoff’s Rule Example Grounding a Circuit
• Relevant quantities: voltage differences ∆ V
• “Grounding” a circuit defines one position where V = 0. All other voltages are
measured with respect to that point.
• In steady state, this does not alter currents or any values of ∆ V in the circuit.
