Infants at both ages dishabituated to the same reach case, suggesting that they expected the hand to reach for the same goal. 1 y: understand that people"s desires guide their actions. 2 y: understand the connection between other people"s desires and their specific. 3 y: understand that desires and beliefs affect behavior, but have difficulty with. 5 y: find false-belief problems very easy actions, but show little understanding that beliefs are also influential false-belief problems. By 52 months, the child was not able to be fooled by the false belief. Implicit: early learned or present at birth.
