Why neo-pi-r is good: has a good theory operationalization behind test, criterion and convergent validity, high internal alphas (acceptable cronbach"s alpha) fairly consistent, valid, valid in many populations, clinical settings, and some cultures. May use in clinical setting but you cannot diagnose the person because of it. Clinical settings: reliability- alphas ranged from. 56 to . 81 for the various facets, internal consistency much higher.
