Color mixing has two types: additive color mixing combining two colors to make a color we want. Ex: mixing paint to get the color. Ex: if you put a blue gel in front of a light red and orange can"t pass through, only the blue can (if a premium blue gel) Mixing to white light- combining a cool light and an amber light. Primary colors of light red, blue, green: lavender, amber, cyan. Primary colors of pigment red, blue, yellow: purple (combined red and blue, orange (combined yellow and red, green (combined yellow and blue) When talk about color they are true color which only emits the color: ex: red only emits red. Purple red (because the red in the purple is going to reflect the red wavelengths.
