Why do people commit crime?

NOT all deviance is crime
Different concepts are theorised in completely different ways
Macrosociology - social structure and crime focus on broad features of society
Social structure - framework that guides out thinking, behavior, interactions, gravity
focuses of social context
Social entities within our society that are organized to meet specific needs
For example - education, family, social status
Collective patterns - patterns on a mass scale, supported with large databases
