Total: like vital but participate each others" lives more fully (working together) Length of acquaintance (> 1 year = better chance) Age ( >20 = last 2x longer than <20 years) Disapprove --> may see problems don"t see will challenge relationship. Emotional support --> more critical than romance (trust, cooperation, respect) Criticism: taken a problem between two of you and attributed it to partner. -> problem is you: women exceed men in use of criticism.
