Document Summary

Thankful for the childhood experiences that gave him the idea that he would live forever (christ) Celestial paradise= memories of this place in the womb but then cut off from those memories when we are born. Poem is about having lost those memories of the celestial paradise. Winnie the pooh and the teletubbies is a pastoral paradise (perfect for children) Feels a sense of loss because he can not find the sense or same way about nature around him. Forgetting where we came from; came from paradise and only have bits and bits of this paradise, however this poem emphasizes that we will all go back to paradise. Nature is a substitute constellation to what was left behind. Barbies and legos are not good because they push children to begin practicing and incorporating adult behavior which pushes them too far along in the process before they need to be there.
