Document Summary
A child is climbing a tree to try and get a better view of the world and to see more and more. Whatever the child can see they can master. The field of vision can be turned into something imaginative and beautiful. Child runs out of the house before bedtime because they do not want to go to bed. Alludes to the great traveler that stevenson would be in the future. Notable how far he was able to travel because he was so ill for so much of his life. There is an absence of christian content in some of his poems, as they are rather stoic or in other words one with the earth as opposed to one with their spiritual wellbeing. Made a lot of money illustrating fairytales and storybooks. Used white space and was characterized by a lot of energy. Very specific way of drawing people and characters.
