Need to strike a balance between trusting your instincts and finding information. Never really go to the store with the intention of buying jam. Music producers thought that he was a huge talent but others did not think he was great. With multiple different styles (mainly r&b) he did not score well/people did not like it. Politicians at the time were trying to appeal to younger people and capture their attention like bill clinton was doing. Tried to make trailers/commercials that were short and made him look like a hip, young candidate. These weren"t really working because people"s gut reactions are that different things are bad, and so they did not take to the new commercial.
