The class will be divided into 5 groups of 3-4 students per group. I have tried to make this a fairly easy assignment due to the challenging work the rest of the semester therefore i have already listed the sub topics you need to research for each time period. Timeframe (9 pts): each group will have 25 minutes (20 minutes to present and a 5 minute q&a). There is an art to presenting within a given time frame! Bibliography (6 points): student groups must have at least 5 academic or valid secondary sources and 2 academic or valid primary sources on the bibliography. Organization (9 pts): a good presentation has a clear introduction, narrative, and conclusion. Remember, when working with historical timeframes, the researcher is looking for trends seen as change over time. There is also the expectation that sources from your bibliography will be cited throughout the power point to support your work.
