Messages that attempt to change attitudes or behavior by connecting you to another person"s emotions. Empathy is likely to occur if you have a positive view of the person. With adoption of any new medium, public concern about negative effects. Tendency for youth to be constantly connected through technology. Media have a common set of features or attributes. For each attribute, a medium fits someone along a continuum, from high to low. Differences in media can be discussed in terms of differences in attributes.
