P1: if there is no necessary being than an in nite amount of time has already elapsed. P2: if an in nite amount of time has already elapsed, then every possibility has already obtained. P3: if every possibility has already obtained, then nothing exists now. Conclusion: there is a necessary being (god: isaac newton objects: the conservation of mass- in a closed system, the amount of mass is constant through all transformations = things can"t just disappear completely. Universe we observe must have a source. P1: either the universe is in nitely old or the universe has a cause.
