Outrage - was race stereotypes, single black mom vs. white couple. You can manipulate a photograph - they don"t always tell the truth. Actual ad was every different kind of person holding babies. Internet went crazy without doing their hw - Poem is an ode to manipulation of advertisement. Advertising/ advertisers are smart -- agencies now have people like us in them asking why were not more ironic. Post modern ads (beer ad for example- says it"s a big ad) points to falseness of advertising. Business of advertising still making it fun even if were in the business. Dissolve - we sell stock footage so u can make a bs ad for bs cause - not trying to pretend otherwise. Don"t consider this as counter productive thinking it will drive ppl to product/brand not other way around. We"ll laugh at it, do it, buy product. Scandal, empire, how to get away with murder.
