丽丽： 麦克，你好，休假去哪儿了？
How are you, Mike. Where did you go during your holiday?
mài kè: wǒ dào nán fāng qù le, qián tiān gāng gāng huí lai.
麦克： 我到南方去了，前天刚刚回来。
I paid a visit to the south and came back the day before yesterday.
lì li: wán de zĕn me yàng?
丽丽： 玩得怎么样？
Did you have a good time?
mài kè: hĕn kāi xīn. wǒ yóu lăn le háng zhōu hé sū zhōu.
麦克： 很开心。我游览了杭州和苏州。
Yes. I visited Hangzhou and Suzhou.
lì li: Shàng yǒu tiān táng, xià yǒu sū háng.
丽丽： 有天堂，有苏杭。
Just as there is paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on
earth.
mài kè: rén men dōu shuō xī hú shì hángzhōu zuì piào liàng de dì fāng.
麦克： 人们都说西湖是杭州最漂亮的地方。
People say that the West Lake is the most beautiful place in Hangzhou.
lì li: nĭ shì chéng fēi jī qù de hái shì chéng huŏ chē qù de?
丽丽： 你是乘飞机去的是乘火车去的？
