The Right Film Cameras to Capture movies on:
• cameramen and directors
o must decide on cost
o availability
o ease of digital editing
o lighting
o transportation ease
• cost of filmmaking cameras is expensive
• you need a recorder
o audio
o headphones
o microphones
• the camera needs to be light enough for the camera man to pick up and follow the actor
o but often cameras are heavy
o camera needs to remain steady
• need good lights and reflectors
o good lights can be expensive especially certain colored lights
o or if trying to replicate dusk or early morning
• audio
o special camera needed to pick up only audio director wants
o getting rid of background noise takes time and editing
• tripod
o to keep camera firm
o tripod good for keeping camera on flat ground or at an angle
