Gender is performative: who we are on the inside, may not be who we are on the outside, but we will act like who we are supposed to be . Patriarchy: power, social structures, web of relationships, unequal distribution of power, resources, and rewards. Socialization: how you grow up and how you are shaped as a person. Paths of least resistant: easy way, non-confrontational. Habit to back down or be shy.
