Fluicasone inhaled coricosteroid- 2x/day , not used as neb, Orophary candid, dysphonia, adrenal suppression, slow growth, bone loss. Albuterol- rescue inhaler, can be monotherapy if asthma is mild and minimal atacks, copd or asthma, Eib, prn, if hospitalized neb, tachycardia, angina, tremor. Salmeterol laba; it can prevent asthma attacks and exercise-induced bronchospasm. It can also treat copd, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Only for asthma, add on therapy w/ glucocoricoid , high ainity for leukotriene receptors, mood changes and suicidal thoughts. Ipratropium(anicholinergic)- blocks muscarinic recpetors, neb and mbi to broncodilate , saba , can be used muliple imes a day. It is important that you are familiar with htn, hf, and angina. Captopril- ace, increase bradykini (vasodilate, cough ), reduce angiotensin 2, take w/ food, prodrug- unil get to liver, adverse efects : hyperkalemia, fetal injury, cough, angioedema; dose based on therapeuic use. Adverse efect: 1st dose hypo, fetal injury, cough, hyperkalemia, renal failure, angioedema.
