Can do sheep skin: or get hair off and make leather, pulled wool . Recycled better than cotton: old shoddy mills. Properties: thermal: non conductor of heat, weakens in exposure to suglight. Silk is faster to be broken down by acids than wool: high resistance to organic solvents. Silk can be processed and woven in many different ways. Clothing: twisted crepe, shantung, satin, lustrous and expensive, chiffon silk, flowing gowns.
