Persons are accused of a crime and judged to be mentally unstable. Sent to a mental hospital for treatment, under court order to take medication. People are justly mentally unstable during the time of their crime/trial. Every patient in a mental institution is afforded treatment of some kind: civil commitment, petitioned to be committed, decision is made by a probate judge. 30 to 150 days: have right to refuse medications unless under court order and also have the right to refuse ect.
