Associative learning- learning to associate one stimulus with another: classical conditioning (pavlov, operant conditioning- learning associated with rewards or punishment. Piloting- an animal moves from one familiar landmark to another. Migration- regular movement of animals across long distances. Orientations- animals can detect directions to travel in particular paths: navigation, cues i(cid:374)(cid:272)lude the earth"s (cid:373)ag(cid:374)eti(cid:272) field, the su(cid:374), a(cid:374)d the stars. Agnostic behavior is usually a constant involving threat: submissive behavior, ritual- intimidation/dominance, reconciliation behavior.
