What is html: hypertext markup language, creates structure of a web page basic building blocks, consists of tags and text. Html skeleton: all html files must have this code: title of page (gets displayed at top of web browser) element contains the web page"s brains . element contains everything that"ll be displayed on the web page: we do the coding inside this tag. Tags (html elements or objects: web page is made of bunch of tags, tags are pre-defined pieces of code that do certain things, they have <> greater than and less than brackets around them. Opening a tag tells the computer that this specific tag is starting. Closing a tag tells the computer that it"s stopping: examples. It makes the text bold and big, like a title! An html element = opening tag + content + closing tag.
