Exxon spill got a blowback from consumers. Conversely, advertising positive environmental aspects allows a company to charge more for their products. The number one seller of green products is walmart, just cuz they sell so many products. People buy ben & jerry"s for this reason. Ben & jerry made their company the way it is because they wanted to. They have a free scoop day because they want to. When they can make money from it. They gave everyone a reusable water bottle to refill because it"s cheaper than endlessly buying water bottles. This is the conversation we"re having with carol. They signal it by joining the un global compact. The un is gonna have a new secretary general on jan 1st! The un are norm entrepreneurs, they"re highly aspirational and just passed a resolution to begin negotiations on eliminating nukes. Companies try not to be reactionary, they can go out of business.
