Walmart was founded in 1962 by sam walton when their first store opened in rogers, arkansas. My team and i will present to you the problems relating to this case. Inglewood is a community with several small businesses, which are run by the families living in the area. The key challenge that we face is improving the economic conditions and living standards of these families, In a small community such as inglewood, it is important for small businesses to be running to maintain the lifestyles of the people. If a company such as walmart, which offers cheaper goods, opens a store in the area, they will overthrow these businesses and reduce the incomes of the people. The root issue therefore is unemployment and lack of jobs available. Remain opposed to walmart"s supercenter and initiate own programs to increase employment opportunities. Todays agenda will be discussing and resolving the root issues surrounding walmart in inglewood.
