Natural or abnormal baldness, complete, localized, or generalized (greek alopekia= fox mange) A large blister filled with fluid (latin bulla= bubble) A circumscribed inflammation of the skin and deeper tissues which terminates in dead tissue and is accompanied by marked constitutional symptoms (latin carbunculus= small glowing ember) Desquamation shedding of the epidermis (latin desquamare= to shed scales) Synonymous with chronic dermatitis (greek ekzein= to boil out) A form of macule appearing in large irregularly formed hemorrhagic areas of the skin; color is blue black changing to greenish brown or yellow (greek chumos= juice) Horny embryonic structure from which the nail develops. A fom of macule showing diffused redness over the skin (greek erythema= redness)
