Etiology - explanation of myth, the background of the story and how true it is. Malinousky - social patterns of hero in story. In neanderthal period it"s cold and bodies were elongated, hence the bird face - bird and goddess image. Bird on scepter and bird on man"s face. He is a shaman with mask and scepter and embodies the goddess. Cleopatra is shown as isis, with vulture qualities. Themes - wings and sky, goddess and bird - vulture - motherhoods. Lucky symbol against death - has moisture. Bougonia - ox birth ritual - utilizes decomposing body of bovine. Sacrifice - animal bleeds out, draped in herbs, closed for 10 days (10 months of pregnancy), open the enclosure and winged insects fly out from the body - called blowflies.
