CHE 210 Lecture Notes - Lecture 2: Ideal Gas, Radian
Document Summary
Note: the class example used critical constants for helium. The critical constants for this set of notes are for ammonia. The spreadsheet example from the previous lecture ended up looking a little like this: Spreadsheets generally need to be formatted before they can be turned into attractive, readable, printed documents. One of the first tasks is to normally check how values are displayed. When something is typed into a cell or when a formula is first entered into a cell, the cell usually has general formatting. Text is left justified and numbers are right justified. Note how the t and k in the temperature column don"t align very well with the temperatures below. These would look better in a centered column. After highlighting, click the horizontal centering icon on the home tab. In fact you could select all three columns of numbers and do all three at once.
