MAN 337 Lecture 9: Cityside Financial Case Study
Document Summary
April 1, 2016: what is the root cause of the problems that cityside financial services are encountering? (required) The root cause of the problems that cityside is currently facing is that they have changed half of their system to cater to the external, rich, white clients, and the other half to the local, low-class, black clients. Because the two sectors are being treated as completely individuals, they have begun overlapping (investments and banking) and the efficiency has begun to become compromised as clients are beginning to realize the split in the services they are receiving. The upper-class, white clients want to know why they cannot get the best deals, while the lower-class, black clients want to know why they have to go through other channels and still get lesser services than the white clients. What needs to change in each organization to address these problems? (required)
