Extreme long shots (or establishing shots) are filmed from a distance and often help to set the scene. Long shots are filmed in a way comparable to a full view of a theater. Full shots are a type of long shot framing the human the human body, with the head at the top and the feet at the bottom. The medium shot films the human from the knees or waist up.
