One in five kids suffer from a mental health disorder. Anxiety is the most common mental heal problem in kids. Adhd is the most common mental health diagnosis in kids. Adhd, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder are the mental health disorders that are more common in boys. 13 to 20 percent of children and adolescent have mental health issues within a given year. About 11 percent of children ages 4 to 17 have been diagnosed with adhd. Boys are more likely to be diagnosed with adhd than girls. Between 1 percent and 16 percent of children and adolescents have odd. Many different anxiety disorder categories: generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, separation anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, selective mutism. Normal language development but only talks to certain people such as family: specific phobias. Eleven percent of adolescents have some kind of depressive disorder by 18.
