Mcclelland"s learned theory of needs: power, achievement, & affiliation. Relatedness: social and half of esteem needs are, physiological and safety are existence. An individual"s specific needs are acquired over time and are shaped by one"s life experience. Most of these needs can be classified as a need for: Job performance = motivation x ability x situation.
