Document Summary

Wants to cite a generic feature of the cosmos. Argues that god exists in order to explain the phenomenon. Only thing to explain change is the existence of an unchanging changer. Doesn"t think the universe needs a beginning in time. Everything must have a suf cient explanation or a reason. Either something is self explanatory or it is explained by something independent. What is contingent (can not be) is not suf cient to explain itself. Thus, what is contingent is dependent on something independent for its existence. Logically possible that the universe has in nite temporal duration. Every natural phenomenon has a naturalistic cause. There cant be naturalistic explanation unless there is a supernatural explanation. A change is contingent (could not be) Thus any change must be dependent on an independent changer (cause of change) If the changer itself changes then the changer"s change is dependent on another change for its existence.
