Appeal courts: looking at a trial court and trying to find if any mistakes where taken, a person only has 30 days to appeal. If they choose to appeal they need to put the money judgement as a bond. The appeal court is going to be on the same district where the trial court was taken: on federal level. Must report to the federal circuit which the state is in. From there they go to the supreme court. Collection of money: exempt property statutes. Homestead is exempt (cannot take their home) Current wages for personal services are exempt. Professionally prescribed health aids of a debtor are exempt. Furniture, food, tools, equipment, clothes, farming or ranching vehicles, firearms, motor vehicles, household pets are also exempt. Pass the summary judgement to go to trial. Its stakes elevate for a plaintiff on a trial. Go to the jury room to decide the case, answer the questions that are attached, and reach a verdict.
