Interest group an organization that attempts to influence public policy in a specific area of importance to its members. Political party an organization that unites people in an effort to control the activities and policies of the government. Approach lobby, campaign funding etc. , from outside. Chosen by parliament because prime minister is head of the party, which is in the parliament.
