What it the function/goal of each actor: congress - election, pass laws, get reelected, keep in power, bureaucracy policy implementation, funding for operation. Interest groups polies that favor interest groups. What resource does each actor have: congress legislative power, allocating funding, bureaucracy ability to carry out policies. Interest groups financial resource, expertise and information. What are the benefits from the other actors: congress policy support from bureaucracy, campaign funding from interest groups, bureaucracy funding from congress, information from interest groups. Interest group an organization that attempts to influence public policy in a specific area of importance to its members. Political party an organization that unites people in an effort to control the activities and policies of the government. Approach lobby, campaign funding etc. , from outside. Chosen by parliament because prime minister is head of the party, which is in the parliament.
