Works as a predictor for sexual outcomes: arousal affected by classical / operant conditioning. Couples who have been together 2-3 years generally experience a decrease in sexual motivation. An uncommon sexual desire like a fetish. A person with this will not be able to experience arousal without a certain stimulus. Ex. present men with porn while wearing boots after a few times the men will have erection just at the sight of the boots: different cultures display different levels of interest in sex. A person"s culture has multiple levels of in uence. 2/3 cultures view homosexuality as normal or permissible.
