Document Summary

This is a model of addressing the causal factors of disorders in biological, psychological, and social aspects of an individuals experience. In most instances there is not a direct cause for a disorder. There is more of an indirect cause with psychopathology. Lots of variables can account for the manifestation of a disorder. Think of personal examples to remember each of these for exam. It might help to think of a character from a novel or movie. Equi nality: diverse experiences leading to a common outcome ex. They are from 3 different backgrounds but have a commonality in education. Multi nality: similar experiences leading to different outcomes ex. 3 siblings all getting different educational outcomes (college degree, high school degree, and dropout) They are from the same background but have different educational outcomes. Many times within a group is a variable sub group.
