PBRL 270 Lecture Notes - Lecture 7: Evaluation Strategy, Task Management, Reputation Management
Document Summary
Race: research, action planning, communication, evaluation. Strategy- plan of action, injected into an organization through communication, which results in actions that help achieve goals: a goal without a strategic plan is just a wish. Research is everywhere and in each step of the way: never stops. Objectives and evaluation hand in hand: what you want them to do > measure if they did it or not. Easiest, most ef cient way to create evaluation plan is to plan manageable objectives. Non strategic moves: may be catchy and popular but don"t move towards goals, developed without input from above, below, and outside. Tuesday, september 19, 2017: aren"t related to the central focus of the organization, aren"t necessary- could succeed without them. Tactic- a little vehicle to carry your message. There is nothing as useless as doing something very ef ciently that doesn"t need to be done at all .
