Asian americans have the highest income and education. Culture is learned: you can accept other cultures without letting go of your own. Multicultural audiences: race and ethnicity, age, gender and sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, national/regional/urban/rural identity, religion, disability or health differences, access to technology, beliefs and attitudes and interests. Diversity is a different way of looking at things: ideas, experiences, innovations, world views. You differ because of what you learn: family, friends, church are your strongest in uences. Ethnocentricity- believing your own way is the right way and everyone else"s is wrong. Tuesday, september 26, 2017: segmented by psychographics. I wanna hear what i agree with. Generational differences: work hours and environment, work ethic and rewards, organizational hierarchy, technology issues, dealing with change, beliefs about other generations" lack of respect. Monolith- all the same: rely on stereotypes too much, do not treat groups as monoliths.
