Similar to human practices of giving anaesthesia, animals are stunned and are not able to feel the pain. Deanimalization animals do not touch the ground again once they are hung up. Occurs when the animal is stunned and turned into a vegetable. Once the animal is stunned, then the workers say that the animal is seen as if it was dead . Ambiguity about who the real killer is. By splitting up the responsibility for killing the animal, no one person needs to take the blame. Because the animal is nearly dead in the stunning procedure, neither the man with the knife, nor the stunner can be blamed. Humans have more innocence since in nature, animals have to kill in order to eat. Animals are similar to trees in that they can be cut down and used for human use.
