This is a night, like any other, full of wine and food as well as tales of debauchery. Everything about this night is to an excess. They drink their wine until they are drunk and indulging in everything as if it was their last night on earth. They may never see that barrel of wine again, once it is finished. A man enters with the sole purpose of calling out their wrongdoings, he is the pardoner. Gluttony was their first offense, eating far too much is what ruined mankind in the first place. Well the pardoner does not even see the sense in drinking to become drunk. The (cid:373)e(cid:374) also fell short (cid:449)he(cid:374) they de(cid:272)ided to ga(cid:373)(cid:271)le, as it hurts o(cid:374)e"s reputatio(cid:374) (cid:449)hether a dru(cid:374)kard or (cid:374)ot a(cid:374)d rui(cid:374)s a (cid:373)a(cid:374)"s (cid:449)ealth.
