Researchers use to focus sexual behavior on numbers rather than deeper meaning and sexual development (who does what to whom and how many times?) Being active early as an adolescent is frowned upon. But most adults don"t seriously try to make it impossible for adolescents to explore their sexuality. Parents don"t object as long as they don"t know about it. Having many partners at one time in adolescents is rare. Autoerotic behavior: sexual behavior that is experienced alone (e. g. having erotic fantasies, masturbation, nocturnal organisms) By high school, transition to sexual activity involving another person rather than individual experiences. For many girls, first sexual experience is forced, especially among girls 12 or younger. Girls in relationships where balance of power factors boys are more likely to have sex.
