We will also explore common theoretical debates about development. What do kids have to say about development? (ted talk video shown in class) Kids are the future and one must listen to kids and offer them the most in education as we can. We can limit them just because we think that kids are not capable. Kids spend a huge proportion of their lives in school. How teachers/adult think ( theorize ) about child development has a major impact on development. Adults come up with rules and they need to think about the implications. The only way to push through those is to learn the research and evaluate the questions.
