Managed to generate million in revenue directly. 2001, over 100,000 households involved in campfire generated /family household trying to engage community in conservation. 1991, mahenye ward created an officially recognized campfire project based on projects begun in 1982 allow sanctioned trophy hunting and received some portion of the profit. 5-10% of family income every year built two upscale tourist lodges on communal land.
