African american males report having sex at youngest ages and asian at oldest ages. Environmental differences can account for these differences. African american males are more likely to grow up in single parent home. Cultural norms may account for these differences. Having sex is not associated with poor outcomes such as depression or anxiety. Having sex and engaging in risky behaviors are associated. About 3-4% teens identify as being gay or lesbian. Highest teenage rates of pregnancies of industrialized countries. Within us, over past 20 years a great decline of teens who give birth of around 30%. About 800-900 thousand teens become prego every year. About 1/3 are aborted and 1/6 end in miscarriage.
