Nutrition from rpe to cells in absence of blood vessels. Rpe soaks up excess water in retina. Failing to do that is a disease in an of itself. Uw-madison is known for leading stem cell research. Eliminated nucleus of frog cell and used tadpole stem cell. Proper development of a frog organism occurred.
