Margaret sanger advocate for contraceptives, founder of planned parenthood. Reproductive justice rj involves being able to have safe and affordable birthing and parenting options; reliable, safe, and affordable birth control technologies; access to education about reproductive health; freedom from forced sterilization, and the availability of abortion. Poor women and woc have less access to affordable healthcare. Gender rating: when women are charged more than men for healthcare. Women are often denied access to certain kinds of healthcare because of hospital affiliations. 1/32 black women contract hiv, 1/106 hispanic women, 1/526 white women. Society that is centered around the lives of men. Women not tested in clinical trials because of hormones, cycles, and pregnancy. Women not participating in drug trials because of fear of infertility. Normal functions of the body are seen as diseased. Women"s bodies have more episodic change due to: menstruation, pregnancy, menopause. Where a person"s biological or genetic makeup, rather than culture or society, determines her/his/their destiny.
