Heart- body ( materials transported to/from cells ) Site of diffusion nutrients, gases, waste- bet. tissues/ blood. Diffusion bet. capillaries/ interstitial fluid surrounding cells. Materials move out and into interstitial fluid that surrounds capillaries and cells. Wastes move from cells into the capillaries.
